NAMOS needs support from you to increase community access to and education about sport art that celebrates honor, endurance, skill and other important character traits.

NAMOS has encouraged the creation of sport art and has collected more than 900 pieces showcasing the heroes and heroines of basketball, boxing, baseball, golf and tennis-over 40 sports in all for over fifty years.

In the years since, NAMOS has carried out a two-pronged mission: to encourage sport artists in their efforts to create sport art, and to collect, preserve and share through exhibits the best examples of sport art it can acquire. It does this through exhibits, educational materials and outreach programs. In carrying out this mission, NAMOS is a bridge of understanding between two worlds, introducing art to the world of sports and sport to the world of art.

NAMOS has held over 100 exhibits across the United States of America since NAMOS' formation, has one of the largest collections of sport art in the country, is free to the public, works hard to provide access and education about sport art and its values and STILL has the potential for so much more.

With your help, NAMOS can bring communities together to appreciate art, athletics, and the competition for excellence that strengthens us all. We think sport art and its celebration of character and competition for excellence is important . We hope you think so too.
